Promiscuity can lead to demonic possession, says leading exorcist
An exorcist has warned young people that promiscuous lifestyles could lead them into being possessed by the Devil.
Fr Jeremy Davies, the diocesan exorcist for Westminster [England] since 1986, said that more and more people in Britain were becoming afflicted by evil spirits through “perversion”.
“Among the causes of homosexuality is a contagious demonic factor,” he said. “Even heterosexual promiscuity is a perversion; and intercourse, which belongs in the sanctuary of married love, can become a pathway not only for disease but also for evil spirits”.
“Some very unpleasant things must be mentioned because young people, especially, are vulnerable and we must do what we can to protect and warn them.”
His remarks come in a new book entitled Exorcism: Understanding Exorcism in Scripture and Practice published by the Catholic Truth Society.

And immodesty is Satan’s “backdoor” which fathers are tolerating in the home by tolerated immodest dress of their wives and children. Fathers need to be the “exorcists” of their homes by saying no and educating about immodesty and how it leads to proiscuity and broken marital convenants!

Yes - I’m in total agreement with Fr. Davies and Andrew.
We have a crisis of manhood. The men are to live their role as protectors - they should be protecting women and children from evil and from the lustful perversions of men and women. Instead they help feed the immodesty and immorality.
The world needs to start becoming vocal and start to “reprimand” people that are dressed or act immorally - and hopefully it will catch on and cause many to think before they try to dress or behave a certain way.
Stop supporting immoral movies, shows, magazines, etc.. It is obvious that the evil one is behind all of this.
Let’s not forget that if Adam was truly a man, he would have protected Eve from the tricks of the devil.

Some of us priests in the Church have been teaching this for many years now especially in the deliverance ministry. It’s time the bishops stopped hiding and came out and condemned some of these practises. Our Lady of Fatima said her Son would be offended by a new fashion and that seems to be the case. Modesty is the guardian of chastity, the Church has taught this for a long time.”The problem dear Bruus is not in the stars”

The article is spot on. I saw, exposed myself and did not watch the whole video of the current #1 Billboard song- and then I scrolled to #9- I cried when I saw it- I also believed I saw the Devil’s true handy work for the “desensitivation” of decency. I wish Men as well as Women would dress better (if they can) for Sunday Mass- We are in the presence of the Lord-

For sure!! Didn’t the Blessed Virgin Mary at Lourdes say that the number one sin that sends most people to Hell is the sin of “impurity?” While pride is the “mother of ALL sin” and surely is the downfall of many. Impurity is the “easiest” sin to lead people from God and to Hell! Porn on the net, chat sessions on the net, “every body does it mentality,” Playboy clubs, magazines, trips to Las Vegas, sex tours to Thailand…..and on and on……Men are being besieged at every aspect with life/living with the exposure/promise of “free sex.” Only, there is no such thing as a free lunch and the “free sex, feel-good, stay in Vegas mentality” has finally come home to roost! More and more young men in their teens and twenties are coming down with ED problems, committment to the institution of marriage is at a all time low, number of cohabiting couples overtakes the number of married couples and the increase of domestic abuse is on the rise because more, if not most, domestic abuse cases is from cohabiting couples rather than married couples. The next big “social phenomena” is “serial cohabitation” along with entrenched “recreational sex” via usage of viagra! (side effects include break down of DNA in sperm cells and a overall decrease in sperm count=inability to father children down through constant asbuse! Yes, men have preferred to “buy” the lie about “free sex” and that “casusal sex” has no fatalities. How wrong! The biggest fatality is they too have been caught up in the “lies” and life-styles of those who have not concern for “women, families, or children.”

This same correlation between sinful sexual acts and posession or oppression by the devil was noted in Fr. Gabriel Amorth’s book.

I had asked Amy to give additional info. on Father Amorth’s book:
Amy wrote:
In An Exorcist Tells His Story, Fr. Amorth gives the story of a young man who suffered demonic oppression. The oppression manifested itself through stomach problems and overall depression. The man had led a promiscuous life, and Fr. Amorth says that this is what opened him up to demonic oppression. Its been a while since I read the book, so I don’t remember any more details. But I have noticed the same pattern among teens and young adults who fall into sexual sin at relatively young ages. They become swept up with occult influences and slaves to the evil one. I recommend that your readers who are strong in their faith to read this book. (Those of weak faith may not be able to handle it because the subject matter can be scarey and very upsetting.) Hope this helps.
Thanks, Amy

I wonder if my son is obsessed. He was married to a woman who turned out to be a lesbian after years and years. They never had children; they did not practice birth control, as far as I know. Now he is remarried out of the Church, and is so stone hearted toward anything religious. I don’t think he is possessed but he has almost a demonic hate of anything to do with religion and Catholicism in general. Any thoughts? I’ve had healing Masses offered for him. He has 2 little boys who will grow up as pagans, a very sad state of affairs. And of course their mom took herself out of the church when she “married” him at City Hall. She calls herself an atheist, as does he.

The sexual act in any relationships unites people in a physical and spiritual level. It served as a gateway that ties the soul between the individuals. That is why it is important that Catholics marry someone with the same beliefs, because the same soul-ties unite them to give honor and glory to God. On the other hand, physical union with non-believers and those involved in doing aberrant acts and abomination towards God such as homosexuality, idolatry and impure acts would make a person turn away from God and leave the gateway open to all kind of demonic spirits. These demonic spirits are using the soul-ties between two people as the bridge to infest, influence and oppress them. They freely go between the two individuals inflicting harm, deceit, lies and snare their souls. Mass offered for both their souls and Exorcism prayers is necessary. There is an Exorcism Prayer that heals the Soul Ties – from the prayer booklet and book “The Catholic Warrior” by Robert Abel. Use of Holy Water (you may sprinkle at them without being noticed or a few drops in their drinks) has many benefits and devils flee from Holy Water. Consecrate your family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate of Mary.

It is quite easy to say that immodesty leads to promiscuity and men most certainly are weak to sexual temptations. Saint Agustine is a case in point.
I don’t honestly feel that fashions will change in such an open society. So what is the solution? Now can it be said that if a woman or man dresses modestly the temptation is gone?
What we are dealing with is more than immodesty it is a real ability and freedom to have sex at will and both the male and female is responsible.
I would much prefer to grow toward a pure mind and heart through God’s grace than just cover up my impure thoughts by modest dressing. Modesty does not guarantee that people will not be impure.
I think for men especially it is really difficult because our passion is ignited through what we see. In women it is more what they hear.
I personally feel that modesty comes with having overcome the very powerful sexual temptation. This does not happen over night but requires a real trust in Jesus and perhaps many years.
I would be delighted to be wrong but lets be practical. How many who have contributed comments are not tempted to think and act on sexual temptation? Women happen to be nice and in today world available to do things with. This may sound awful from a Christian perspective but it is true. So what is the solution - repression or admission and a desire to be good as well as a trust that God’s mercy will grant grace as we try to be better?

Do you think that the Vatican’s systematic cover-up of the global epidemic of Catholic priests raping young children is also a perversion? Or do you think it’s OK?
